Detlev has spent his entire career in international business and continues to work as a consultant in trade, finance, investment, logistics, and production.
He is a native speaker of both English and German, having grown up bilingual, and he learned Swiss German as a third native language during childhood. Detlev also speaks fluent French, having lived in Paris for 10 years, and is enthusiastically learning Italian.
His passion for languages, communication, and cultural exchange comes to life in his role as your language coach, sparring partner, and advisor. Detlev can assist you or your employees in improving English skills and communicating, interacting, and negotiating more effectively with business partners and within your organisation. These services are also available for international employees looking to enhance their proficiency in German or Swiss German.

Olivia Gloor
Founder of OMG Languages
Olivia is the owner and founder of OMG Languages. Growing up in a multilingual family—partly French-speaking and partly English-speaking—her path as a polyglot was, quite literally, imposed upon her, or to put it more gracefully, destined.
After several years working as a teacher, translator, and most recently as deputy director of a language school in Italy, Olivia decided it was time to take matters into her own hands. Zug, with its ideal environment, offered the perfect setting, bringing the native of Zug back to her roots after six years abroad. In 2022, she fulfilled her dream of opening her own language school with OMG Languages.
In 2018, Olivia first ventured into self-employment by founding a small advertising agency, OMG Text, which she continues to run alongside OMG Languages.
Olivia is your go-to contact and teacher for traditional and technical language instruction as well as preparation for specific language diplomas.
Her methodology is grounded in the principle that “learning languages doesn’t have to be monotonous or arduous.”
